Get to know me!
I've recently graduated from the State University of SUNY New Paltz where I studied Digital Media Production and Media Management for marketing . On my website you will find creative class projects I've worked on and promotional posts I've created for organizations I was a part of at New Paltz.
I possess a sharp eye for detail, which I use to find even the smallest errors. I work well under pressure and quick when it comes to problem solving. I try my best to find ways to make someone's vision come to life. I have strong interpersonal skills and have worked with a wide variety of people.
My Ultimate goal is to direct and create content that will not only engage, but pull at the heartstrings of each and every viewer. I want to story tell in a way that captures an audience and evokes an emotional response. Stay tuned for some creative projects I will be releasing this year!
DOCUMENTARY
This past year I directed my very first documentary. The piece was about Amy Trompetter and her ability to use puppetry to shed light on the importance of morality and political and cultural matters.
AUDIO
This was a fun project I worked on in an audio production class. I remade the audio in the first scene of the movie "A quiet place" on protools. I was able to create foley sound effects in a sound booth and use pre-recorded sound effects to achieve the final product.
Last year a few classmates and I worked on a project that showcased our personal lives as students in a pandemic.
A few years ago I co-directed a Human video for a Christmas production at my church. A human video is a form of theater combining music, drama, American Sign Language and classic mime. It consists of a song or medley played over loudspeakers while actors use rhythmic physical movement to communicate emotions and a story to a given audience. I've directed many human videos in the past, but this was the first one I directed involving young children. It was challenging at times, but overall a lot of fun. Human videos are about finding creative ways to showcase multiple events without the use of props. It's always interesting accomplishing this in order to tell a story.
This was the first short film I ever created. I created the film with the idea of connecting a lost soul to an everyday person. I wanted the film to be relatable. At the time I was learning how to use a DSLR (Cannon) and was not yet familiar with professional audio equipment.

Last year my TV studio production class participated in a series of live teachings that resemble TED talks. For this particular project I was the Graphics Coordinator and my job was to create an opening video, lower thirds and graphics to be displayed during the live presentation.
This is a "Meet The Executive Board" video that I directed and edited for a Dance Team at SUNY New Paltz. The goal was to showcase the personality of the team in a fun and upbeat way.
